Every birth changes you. For better or for worse... And a surgical birth will change how your body works, forever. Those scars will impact how you breath, how you walk, how your body compensate. And if the birth was traumatic, those scars will change how you perceive yourself, will change your relationships, will change your journey into motherhood.
We forget that scars are a BIG deal. And when you get multiple scars, on a single day, into so many layers and tissues, while probably experiencing emotional trauma... that is a gigantic deal.
Learn how to treat the physical, emotional and spiritual healing of cesarean births scars (both the invisible and the visible ones)
During this full day of learning, we will cover both the theory and the practice (palpation and evaluation, needling, cupping, manual manipulation, bleeding, and more)
This workshop is a designed for acupuncturists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, RMT's, doulas and any other health care practitioner who would like to learn the art of palpation and fetal positioning.
The workshop begins with a lecture and ends with hands on practice on pregnancy bellies. Designed to deepen your practice and assessment skills you will learn the ancient art of palpation.
What is sadly becoming a lost skill due to ultrasound and reliance on technology, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of palpation fetal positioning and listening. These are hands on, human centered skills that are timeless and meant to be carried on, as a form of assessment, connection and communication with both of your patients - the pregnant mom and her baby.
If you would like to up-level your practice and deepen your skills working with pregnant patients, this workshop is for you!

The cesarean birth scars training gave me exactly what I was looking for—and even more: a solid understanding of a subject I haven’t experienced firsthand.
What deeply moved me was the space that was created to embrace this more intimate and sensitive dimension. Of course, one can learn anatomy and understand the mechanisms of healing, but nothing replaces the richness of the exchanges shared with the other participants. These moments allow us to connect to a more human, nuanced understanding and to approach these scars with a quality of presence, gentleness, and listening.
The content was clear, accessible, and firmly grounded in practice. The theory is vibrant, enriched by concrete examples that truly facilitate integration. As for the practical component, it is invaluable: it allows us to explore, experience, and confidently embrace the various approaches presented.
I leave with a much deeper understanding of these issues, but also with a renewed sense of confidence.
I recently attended Safire’s Palpation, Auscultation and Fetal Positioning Workshop and it was such an incredible learning experience. This workshop offered a beautiful combination of lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice that made the information both easy to understand and deeply impactful.
One of the things I appreciated most was how Safire taught these timeless, human-centred skills in such a grounded and accessible way. She made complex concepts around palpation, fetal positioning, and assessment feel very digestible, while also creating lots of space for questions and ensuring we were truly integrating the information as we learned.
Safire is an incredibly patient and supportive teacher. She takes her time making sure everyone feels comfortable and understands each step before moving on. You can really feel her passion for preserving these important skills.
The c-section scars class has transformed the way I treat scar tissue—not only in postpartum cases, but in all cases. The knowledge I gained has enabled me to communicate more effectively with my patients and other professionals (such as physical therapists) about the importance of scar management. The supportive learning environment also gave me the confidence to treat scars effectively in clinical settings.
What appeals to me is Rebecca’s human, dynamic approach, which is always imbued with a sense of the sacred. The workshop on scars is a perfect example; what an interesting topic! Rebecca highlights, among other things, the importance of giving special care to our scars, whether visible or invisible. We also see the importance of approaching scars with respect and supporting women in embracing this part of themselves. Knowing how, where, and why to use our needles and moxa. After this day, scars are no longer a mystery!
Come to one workshop, or come to both (and then get your free bottle of the most amazing mugwort oil), meet other passionate colleagues, learn new tips and tricks to get better results in your practice 🩷
